Located in north of Marsa Allam city in Egypt, Baladi Watch are dedicated to keeping an eye on the dog population in their area and are always looking for ways to prevent the inhumane ways used to deal with the dog overpopulation.

It started with a dog called Emma, who was loved and cared for since she was born. Emma was out on a walk one day when she innocently sniffed the ground as all dogs do. Hours later, Emma had passed over the rainbow bridge because what she sniffed was poisoned used to cull the stray dog population.

Baladi Watch actively carry out TNR campaigns and rescue many injured or sick animals and nurse them back to health. Sometimes they even keep the animals that need more attention and care than others. They work tirelessly to find them homes in Egypt and abroad.
